Teens and Parents take part in survey to bring to light unsafe driving habits.

Winter was once considered the most dangerous time of year to be on the road. According to a new survey by (find out name) Summer is the most dangerous time to be on the road. Conditions of the road itself may be better but the overall distraction level during the summer months is much higher.

When asked a series of questions, 500 teenagers and 500 parents both voted Winter to be the most dangerous time of year to be on the road. Studies have shown however that Summer is the most dangerous time of the year to drive. This survey also found that teenage girls to be the most distracted and teenage boys to be more likely to speed and display road rage. Surprisingly it also showed that 28% of parents are more likely to check their phones than their teenage children.

Ford is concerned about the safety of new drivers and has reached many teen drivers with its Driving Skills for Life program. Ford has also introduced tools to help deter distracted driving; tools like the MyFordTouch System which allows for more of a hands-free experience.
