Once again the West Coast Auto Group – Car-Diac Cruisers rode the Heart & Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. Each year our participants ride one gigantic bike for 20 minutes. The Big Bike is a symbol to those in the community to stop and think about heart disease and stroke education and research. After all, the Big Bike does just that. It literally stops traffic and pedestrians in their tracks.
(2017)
Each rider goes out into the community and fundraises in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada by pledging to complete the 20-minute workout on the Big Bike. The money raised works to help important research throughout Canada. Efforts include regenerative medicine, researching the next clot-busting drug for stroke victims, and better understand the science behind why women’s recovery after a cardiac event is often longer than men’s.

On behalf of all the participants at West Coast Ford Lincoln, we thank our generous donors, who are the real heroes helping fight against heart disease and stroke.
