Revealing the impressive 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt ahead of the North American International Auto Show, it returns as a special-edition, high-performance Mustang which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the famed Steve McQueen movie – Bullitt. In case you missed it, Bullitt is famed for its incredible car chases which feature a Highland Green Mustang GT 390 fastback. Performance: Packed with performance features, drivers can expect the limited-edition Mustang Bullitt to feature a 5.0 L V8 engine which is ready to thrill drivers with 475 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, with a top track speed of 262 km/h (163 mph). In fact, the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt is equipped with even more horsepower than the Mustang GT. It is set to also feature MagneRide, Ford’s semi-active suspension system.
Style: While the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt will be offered in its famed colour, Highland Green, it will also be available in black. Chrome accents line the exterior. Exclusive to the Ford Bullitt is the removal of Mustang badging, which has been replaced by a Bullitt logo on a false filler cap at the rear. Other exterior features include the sleek blacked out-grille and black 19-inch aluminium rims. Meanwhile, inside is host to a large, 12-inch digital LCD instrument cluster with green font. The available black Recaro leather-trimmed seats with green stitching is an ode to the past while saying hello to the future. For full effect, and in line with the film’s unique styling, Ford even added the white cue ball shift knob.
