2016 Ford Explorer and Ford Edge Changes

Something great gets even better with the redesigned 2016 Ford Explorer. This model features a brand new look and was on display at the 2015 Vancouver Auto Show.

A redesigned grille and headlights highlight the changes on the 2016 Ford Explorer. This SUV also has new sheet metal and new technology. Enjoy enhanced refinement inside with new features that improve convenience and comfort. One of the big changes on this model is the enhanced park assist that not only helps you parallel park, but assists you with parking in and out of perpendicular spaces. With this system, you control the brakes and gas pedal while the vehicle controls the steering. To further assist you, a 180-degree front camera has been added with a wide view. You won’t have to worry about getting out in the mud and dirt with the camera washer on both the front and back of the SUV. Another new feature that drivers will appreciate is the foot-activated power liftgate that makes loading and unloading a breeze.

Also at the 2015 Vancouver Auto Show was the 2016 Ford Edge. This model has a brand new platform with a radical new design that includes updated seats and a new engine. Ford went to the customers to find out what they liked about the Edge and kept those features while adding a lot more. Not only will Edge fans like the way it looks and feels, but it will appeal to a whole new group of fans. The SUV comes with a 2.7L EcoBoost® engine with 315 horsepower and a optional 2.0L engine.
